Well!! This blog is about my life till now.
I was born in a family of businessmen on 13th of November 1991. When I opened my eyes, I found myself as the third child of my parents. My family was a little extended one with my father having 5 more brothers and 2 sisters and on my mother's side I had 1 'mammu' n 2 'massis'.
I grew up with my elder sister and brother and a number of cousins. We used to play a lot in the vicinity of our joint family's joint Home! When I was some 3 to 4 years old, I burnt my right hand in hot cooking oil which my mother had heated for cooking the days food. That day was a very crucial one as that incident still affects me while choosing a career in my life. I was a good student back then, my mother used to teach me very effectively and thanks to her that I became the class topper in my Fatima Convent High School, Bishnah. I studied in this institution till 6th class. In the 6th standard, I left this school to join Sainik School Nagrota. At that time my elder brother was studying in the same institution in 9th standard. Initially I tried to become the topper there as well. And i topped too but only in mathematics subject. I wept saying that I had performed well in all other subjects too but nobody paid any heed to it. My brother came to me and told me that I need not cry since in that institution no teacher gave fair marks to the students and at that very moment, I became a little careless about studies. I had a bright mind, so I started studying only at the time of exams and used to enjoy, gossip and sleep during the preps and study hours. Everybody else did the same! Sonu was our class topper and I generally used to compare myself with him but never tried hard enough to score excellent marks. I advanced in my life during my sainik school life. Intermittently, I participated in competitions like drawing competitions, quizzes, declamation competitions etc. I won various medals too. I was not good in sports. I tried to be good in football but i could not make a name in my class as a good player of football. This forced me to miss Interzonal competitions too. I was a "bigda" kid till my 10th class, kicking juniors, beating them etc. I even kicked one junior Aman n hurt him in his head when he wasn't able to do push-ups properly. He saved me that time by lying to the teacher that it happened accidently when he feel down while crossing a drain. At that time, I realised that I had no right to hurt other human beings. I improved as a human being in my 11th and 12th classes. The teachers(Mr S.K.Rana and Mr A.S.Rana) noticed this change and encouraged me to do good in life. I always knew that my burnt hand would hinder my path if I tried to go into Indian Defense Forces and Yes it did too!! I cleared SSB in 12th class but I was declared medically unfit due to my Eyes' high myopia and my contracted burnt right hand. Immediately after me 12th board exams, I underwent 2 surgeries, one of eyes and the other of my hand. I prepared for a month for AIEEE exam and luckily I performed well enough in it to secure a place in B.Tech Civil Engineering Batch of 2009 of NIT Srinagar. I wasn't much interested in it, so I cleared SSB again during my first semester but again I was knocked out! This time my eyes were found fit but my hand still remained unfit due to Scars n remaining contractions after the surgery. So, I made up my mind to complete my graduation from NIT Srinagar and again apply for Indian Army after 4 years. I made friends there and studied as well. I did not care for the marks initially but by the end of my degree, I felt very bad to find myself not eligible to appear for interviews for jobs in PSUs. Anyways I had made a lot of my friends, both boys and girls and all of them like me very much and I am happy to have such friends in my life. I have now got a job offer from Simplex Infrastrucures Ltd. and that is the best thing happened to me in my entire life till now. I am looking forward to do well in life ahead and rectify the mistakes I have committed till now of not working hard enough to keep myself happy with my performance. Let's see what the future has in plan for me...
